South actor, comedian and director Manobala passed away in Chennai today. He was 69 years old. As per multiple reports, he had pancreatic issues and was undergoing treatment.

Manobala was best known for his work in the Tamil industry. The late actor-director's last rites will be performed tomorrow at 10 am. His mortal remains are currently at his home in Valasaravakkam in Chennai.

Since the news of Manobala's passing surfaced online, several celebrities and industry insiders shared their condolences and tributes.
