This Laura Goldin Bio explores her life.
Netflix’s King of Collectibles: Meet Laura Goldin, Ken Goldin Daughter
Ken Goldin and his company have been auctioning collectibles for decades. However, he’s now doing so with cameras following him around filming the Netflix show King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch.
So, to sell collectibles, first, you need to buy them. During episode 4, Ken’s on one of these trips to secure some rare basketball memorabilia, and surprisingly, his daughter Laura Goldin joined him. However, Laura said that whenever her dad was boarding a private jet, she always had to go along with him.
Over the ep, the two seemed to share a great relationship and were often joking around.
“The official trailer is here! Clearly, they don’t want to spoil all of the best scenes (mine) just yet, but swipe for a little sneak peek🫣 All episodes drop on Netflix on April 28, so get excited!! @netflix @kengoldin,” Laura promoted the show on her IG.
Laura’s dad, Ken was the Executive Chairman and Founder of Goldin Auctions, a leading marketplace for trading cards, collectibles, and memorabilia. He founded the company back in Jan 2012, fourteen years after founding Goldin Sports Inc. However, he first started his journey by founding The Score Board inc — a trading card licensee and manufacturer, sports and entertainment marketing specializing in tv sales — in 1986
Now, Ken’s one of the most widely recognized leaders in the collectibles industry, and throughout his career has sold more than $1.3 billion in memorabilia from many of the biggest names in sports, history, and pop culture. He routinely sets records for the most expensive trading cards and other memorabilia ever sold, including the Mike Trout Bowman rookie card ($3.9 million), the Kobe Bryant jersey ($3.69 million), and the most expensive Michael Jordan’s autographed patch card ($2.7 million).
