The Maui Police Department publicly identified two more victims who died in the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire.

Eugene Recolizado, 50, and Mark Kaminsky, 59, were both from Lahaina, according to police.

The total number of fatalities remained at 115 as of Monday. So far, 45 individuals have been identified and their families notified. Six more individuals have been identified, but their families have not been located or notified.

Maui police and the FBI continue to seek the public’s help in providing DNA samples to help identify wildfire victims, which can be done at the Family Assistance Center, open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency’s Monarch Ballroom at 200 Nohea Kai Dr. in Kaanapali. Immediate family members outside of Maui who wish to submit DNA samples can contact the FBI Honolulu Division by phone at (808) 566-4300 or by email hn-command-post@ic.fbi.gov.

Members of the public can also contact the FBI by phone or email to report that a person listed as unaccounted for has been found safe or to provide information to help find people who are listed as unaccounted for.

The full validated list of names is available at mauinuistrong.info/unaccountedfor. To report an individual who is still unaccounted for, email unaccounted@mpd.net and provide: the reporting party’s first and last name, contact information and relationship to the missing person; and the missing person’s first and last name, age or date of birth, last known location and last known physical address of residence.
